It is<br \/>\nopen to all music lovers<br \/>\nwith no professional<br \/>\nbackground required,<br \/>\noffering a relaxed<br \/>\nexperience of the charm of cross-cultural music.<br \/>\nMoving beyond<br \/>\nconventional<br \/>\nperceptions, we will help you rediscover the<br \/>\nguzheng\u2014an iconic Eastern musical<br \/>\ninstrument. Drawing on my exchange experience in Denmark and other<br \/>\ncountries, combined with live performance excerpts, I will share<br \/>\nhow the guzheng converses and fuses with Western jazz,<br \/>\nbreaking boundaries between instruments and musical styles. There will be no<br \/>\ncomplicated music theory or high<br \/>\nprofessional barriers. Instead, through<br \/>\nintuitive playing and casual sharing, we will expand your imagination of traditional Chinese folk music.<br \/>\nYou will discover that<br \/>\nthe guzheng is far more than what you are<br \/>\nfamiliar with. It can also be free, improvisational, rhythmic and dynamic, creating a wonderful<br \/>\nchemical reaction with<br \/>\njazz.
