Chavalit Frederick Tsao
Chairman, TPC (Tsao Pao Chee)
Chavalit Frederick Tsao is the fourth-generation steward of TPC (Tsao Pao Chee), a family business with more than 120 years of history, established in the late 1800s during the Qing Dynasty. He was born in Hong Kong, China, and after completing his education at the University of Michigan, Chavalit joined the family business at the age of 20 and became the chairman at the age of 37. He also served as the chairman of Intercargo, where he established innovative platforms to promote collaboration within the maritime sector.
Chavalit’s background and experience gave him unique insights into global sustainability challenges and founded East West Cultural Development Centre in 1995 to research this topic. He discovered that integrating ancient wisdom and modern science creates a holistic approach to cultivating leadership for this era.

Tracy Wu is President of FMC China and Regional Director for Northeast Asia, overseeing business operations across Greater China and Korea. She also serves as Chairwoman of the Crop Protection Industry Association of China and is an ICF PCC-certified executive coach.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Shanghai University and completed the Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School, where she is recognized as an alumna. She has also attended executive leadership programs at INSEAD, CEIBS, and CKGSB.
With over 20 years of experience in multinational corporations, Tracy has led and transformed business operations across China, Japan, and Korea. She has successfully developed and executed China strategies for multiple globally recognized brands and pioneered collaboration models between international patented compounds and domestic enterprises.
Throughout her career, she has led numerous corporate restructuring and M&A integration projects, driving sustainable growth and long-term value creation. Since May 2016, she has been serving as President of FMC China.
Prior to joining FMC, she held senior leadership roles at BASF and Syngenta, including Greater China Head of Agricultural Solutions at BASF China, General Manager of BASF Jiangsu Crop Protection, as well as Marketing Director and Head of Organizational Development & Training at Syngenta China.
Beyond her corporate leadership, Tracy is an active advocate for women’s leadership development. She is a founding member of a women’s leadership alliance and a frequent speaker at major leadership forums.

Marcia Chen is the Co-founder and CEO of Women Alliance Group (WAG), China’s first cross-company platform for women’s development and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Since its founding in 2020, WAG has brought together over 30 leading organizations—including Google, McKinsey, Intel, Didi, Tencent, Nike, Tiffany, and Sanofi—reaching more than 350,000 employees.
She introduced Google’s global initiative #IamRemarkable to China, expanding it to over 50 organizations and 5,000 participants within three years, while training more than 100 local facilitators. This experience led her to establish WAG to further support the growth of professional women and inclusive workplace cultures in China.
Having traveled to over 50 countries, she brings a global perspective, while her deep engagement with Eastern philosophy, aesthetics, and mindfulness informs her approach to integrating Eastern and Western perspectives. She is committed to advancing localized DEI practices and contributing to a more inclusive and sustainable future.

Tina Tao is the Founder and Artistic Director of Leran Performing Arts Center and a musical theatre producer and director. She is a Trinity College London-certified senior musical theatre educator, a guest lecturer at Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts, a mentor at Shanghai Lida University, and a member of the Shanghai Musicians Association.
She holds a Master’s degree in Musical Theatre from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and a Master’s degree in Directing from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts (UK), along with bachelor’s degrees from Shanghai International Studies University and Wuhan Conservatory of Music.
In 2012, she founded Leran Performing Arts Center, pioneering English-language musical theatre training and performance for youth in China, and in 2015 introduced the Trinity musical theatre examination system to China.
She has directed and produced numerous musical theatre and concert works, including The Other School, A Chorus Line, Cats, Chicago, The Secret Garden, Mulan, The Lion King, Peter Pan, and Tarzan. She has also organized international cultural exchange programs, leading students to perform in the U.S., UK, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Bali, and Bhutan, including participation in the Edinburgh Festival and performances in London’s West End. Her teams have received multiple awards at the World Peace Choir Festival.

From EHL Hospitality Business School in Switzerland to tea studies at Hunan Agricultural University, Zhu’s journey spans from hospitality professional to admissions officer, and now to a practitioner deeply rooted in industry. Through this path, she has witnessed how education awakens independent thinking and a sense of stewardship.
As a successor to the century-old Songpin tea legacy, she brings a global perspective into traditional tea culture, with a strong commitment to organic agriculture. She believes that education is not merely the transmission of knowledge, but a process of rebuilding the deep connection between humans and nature. Together with like-minded peers, she is actively advancing an ecological vision of co-existence and contributing to a sustainable future.
