In tai chi practice ‘silk
reeling’ is the method used to coordinate the parts of the body to achieve whole-body movement: when one part moves, all parts
move, or, when the dantian (center) moves, the whole body moves.
Participants will learn a
series of soft, steady
and continous flow of movements designed to enhance the circulation
of qi, followed by agentle refreshing self-massage and shaking techniques to remove stagnations.
