Jun Ma

JunMa is Chief Economist of the Research Bureau of the People’s Bank of China, Chairman of the Green Finance Committee of the China Society for Finance and Banking, and Co-Chair of the G20 Green Finance Study Group.
He previously served at Deutsche Bank from 2000 to 2014 as Managing Director, Chief Economist for Greater China, and Chief Investment Strategist. Earlier in his career, he worked as an Economist and Senior Economist at the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, and as a researcher at China’s Development Research Center of the State Council.
Ma Jun is a member of the China Finance 40 Forum, serves on the OECD Centre on Green Finance and Investment Advisory Board, and holds academic appointments at Fudan University and Tsinghua University.
