Kaiping Peng
Professor, Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science, Tsinghua University
Kaiping Peng is Professor of Psychology at the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science, Tsinghua University, Director of the Institute for Global Industry at Tsinghua, and a member of the University Academic Committee. His research focuses on social psychology, cultural psychology, and positive psychology.
He received his PhD in Psychology from the University of Michigan and previously held a tenured professorship at the University of California, Berkeley. Since 2008, he has served as Professor at Tsinghua University and was the founding Chair of its psychology department.
Professor Peng has published over 450 academic papers, with more than 25,000 citations, and has been listed among Elsevier’s Highly Cited Chinese Researchers in Psychology for consecutive years since 2015. He is a leading scholar and public intellectual in positive psychology and mental well-being in China.
