Weichun Jin
Founder, Business Weekly Media Group
Weichun Jin is a highly influential figure in the Chinese-language media industry. Early in his career, he served as Director of the Column Department at China Times, becoming the newspaper’s lead editorial writer at the age of 29. At 30, he pursued further studies in the United States and later returned to Taiwan to found Business Weekly, developing it into one of Taiwan’s most influential and widely circulated business magazines. Today, the Business Weekly Group is part of TOM Group under Li Ka-shing, further strengthening its presence across the Chinese-speaking world.
In June 2009, Jin stepped down as CEO of the Business Weekly Group. He currently serves as Honorary Publisher of the group and continues to write the “Founder’s Chatroom” column for Business Weekly, while remaining actively engaged in educational and social initiatives.
