Ji Zou
Chief Executive Officer and China President, Energy Foundation
Mr. Zou Ji serves as Chief Executive Officer and China President of the Energy Foundation, leading its work in China. He has long been engaged in energy, environment, and climate policy, and previously served as Deputy Director of the National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation under China’s National Development and Reform Commission. He participated in UN climate negotiations as a member of the Chinese government delegation, including the negotiations for the Paris Agreement. He has also contributed to IPCC assessment reports and promotes dialogue between China and the international policy and academic communities. Mr. Zou holds degrees from Tsinghua University and Renmin University of China, and has conducted visiting research at Harvard University and the London School of Economics.
