Peter Lee Ka-kit

Chairman and Managing Director, Henderson Land Development Company Limited

Dr. Peter Lee Ka-kit is Chairman and Managing Director of Henderson Land Development Company Limited. He is a Standing Committee Member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). He has served as an Executive Director of the Company since 1985 and was Vice Chairman from 1993 until May 2019. On 28 May 2019, he was appointed Chairman and Managing Director, and is also a member of the Company’s Remuneration Committee and Nomination Committee.
Educated in the United Kingdom, Dr. Lee has been primarily responsible for the Group’s business development in mainland China since joining the Company. He is also Chairman of Henderson Land Company Limited, Vice Chairman of Henderson Development Limited, and Chairman of Towngas China Company Limited and Towngas Smart Energy Company Limited, all of which are listed companies.
Dr. Lee is Chairman of the One Country Two Systems Research Institute. He was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by The University of Hong Kong in 2009, and received an Honorary Doctor of Business Administration from Edinburgh Napier University in 2014.
