Privacy Policy

NO. 17 Foundation is committed to protecting your privacy and personal information and to ensuring compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore. We provide this Privacy Policy to inform users of our IMPACT WEEK mobile communication application (the “Application”) of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Data and other information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use the Application or when you complete the registration sign-up form on the Application, why we collect the data, how it is used, and your rights and choices.

By using or accessing the Application and providing us with your Personal Data (through signing up or otherwise), you are accepting the policies and procedures set out in this Privacy Policy, and you are consenting to our processing of your data as set out in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us from time to time.

You also consent to our use of your information, such as your user profile, stated interests, and interaction history, for the purpose of generating AI-driven insights. This may include analysing your data to identify topics of potential interest, performing searches through our proprietary knowledge base and publicly available sources, and suggesting relevant content or connections to other participants in our network.

Information We Collect

Information we collect falls into one of two categories: “voluntarily provided” information and “automatically collected” information.

“Voluntarily provided” information refers to any information you knowingly and actively provide us when using the Application and its associated services.

“Automatically collected” information refers to any information automatically sent by your device in the course of accessing the Application and its associated services.

Log Data

When you access our servers via the Application, we may automatically log the standard data provided by your device. It may include your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, your device type and version, your activity within the Application, time and date, and other details about your usage.

Additionally, when you encounter certain errors while using the Application, we automatically collect data about the error and the circumstances surrounding its occurrence. This data may include technical details about your device, what you were trying to do when the error happened, and other technical information relating to the problem. You may or may not receive notice of such errors, even in the moment they occur, that they have occurred, or what the nature of the error is.

Please be aware that while this information may not be personally identifying by itself, it may be possible to combine it with other data to personally identify individual persons.

Device Data

The Application may access and collect data via your device’s in-built tools, including geo-location data, usage statistics and user settings.

When you install the Application or use your device’s tools within the Application, we request permission to access this information. The specific data we collect can depend on the individual settings of your device and the permissions you grant when you install and use the Application.

Personal Information

We collect information from users who voluntarily provide it to us through the registration sign-up form on the Application or through the usage of associated services on the Application. By submitting the registration sign-up form (“Registration Form”) or using the associated services on the Application, you are deemed to have accepted the Personal Data Notice and Consent below.

IMPACT WEEK 2025 (the “Event”)

1. The information you provide in this Registration Form is to enable NO.17 Foundation to:

  • register and contact you about your attendance at the Event;
  • carry out administrative and planning activities for the Event;
  • plan and develop future activities and opportunities;
  • facilitate your collaborations in relation to the Event;
  • process and generate a dynamic linkage network map, which is a visual framework helping to identify meaningful connections between you and other participants based on shared interests, expertise, or activity, supporting a more personalized and insightful experience;
  • process through an AI-powered network system and match like-minded participants and recommend sessions that reflect the preferences and participation patterns of participants;
  • manage entry to venues and spaces and enable participants to view session information, calendars and book sessions;
  • manage and report post-Event progress of initiatives, commitments and declarations made during Impact Week;
  • allow the compilation and analysis of statistics relevant to the Event; (hereinafter referred to collectively as “Purposes”).

2. Your personal data may be disclosed by NO.17 Foundation to its third party service providers, agents or collaborators (including their other participants), which may be sited outside of Singapore, for one or more of the above Purposes, as such third party service providers, agents or collaborators, if engaged by NO.17 Foundation, would be processing your personal data for one or more of the above Purposes.

3. By submitting your Registration Form, you:

  • consent to NO.17 Foundation collecting, using, disclosing and/or processing your personal data for the Purposes as described above;
  • consent to NO.17 Foundation collecting personal data about you from sources other than yourself and using, disclosing and/or processing the same, for one or more of the Purposes as described above;
  • consent to NO.17 Foundation disclosing your personal data to its third-party service providers, agents, or collaborators (including their lawyers / law firms), for the Purposes as described above;
  • consent to NO.17 Foundation transferring your personal data out of Singapore to its third-party service providers, agents, or collaborators where such third-party service providers, agents, or collaborators are sited (whether in Singapore or outside of Singapore), for the Purposes as described above;
  • represent and warrant that you are the user and/or subscriber of the email provided by you in this form;
  • have read and understood the above provisions.

4. NO.17 Foundation seeks to include each event participant’s name, affiliation and full contact details into the IMPACT WEEK 2025 mailing list to enable dissemination of information about future activities and opportunities. Should you wish to withdraw your consent to be contacted for the Purposes stated above, please indicate your intent to withhold consent by marking the appropriate box in the Registration Form. If you have provided us your details and would like to withdraw your consent, please allow 5 business days for your withdrawal to take effect. Alternatively, you may write to us at connect@2026.atonefestival.com to withdraw your consent.

5. By attending the Event, you consent to the use of your photograph, voice, likeness, and image in any broadcasts of this Event and in subsequent productions drawn from video or audio recordings of this Event. The photographs and recordings may be published or broadcasted in our affiliates’ publications and in publicity materials, including our affiliates’ websites and social media. All recordings, articles, quotes, photographs, films, audio or video and/or any reproductions of same in any form, are the property of NO.17 Foundation. Our affiliates, employees, representatives and agents and we are released from any and all claims, demands, costs and liability that may arise from the use of these interviews, recordings, photographs, videotapes or films, and/or any reproductions of same in any form, as described above, arising out of being interviewed, recorded, photographed, videotaped or filmed.

6. It is the responsibility of event participants to remove themselves from group and candid shots/recordings that the photographers/videographers intend to capture, if they do not wish to have their photos/audio-visual recordings taken at the Event.

7. [For EU Participants] If you are a citizen or resident of the European Union (EU), your personal data may be protected under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your data will be collected and processed in Singapore with appropriate safeguards in place. By participating, you acknowledge that you have been informed of your GDPR rights (including access, rectification, restriction, and erasure) and consent to the transfer and processing of your personal data in accordance with the stated Purposes.

Retention of Collected Information

We retain the information we collect only for so long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including as described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law. When assessing retention periods, we first carefully examine whether it is necessary to retain the information collected and, if retention is required, work to retain the information for the shortest possible period permissible under law.

Protection of Collected Information

We are committed to protecting the information that we collect. We use a range of measures that adequately protect such information, including secure servers and encryption, taking into account the nature of the information and the processing, and the threats posed. We review these safeguards regularly.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of the information collected. In the unlikely event that we do suffer a security breach that compromises our protection of your information collected by us and we need to let you know about it, we will do so.

Cookies and Web Beacons

We may use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, and other tracking technologies on the Application to help customize the Application and improve your experience. Most browsers are set to accept cookies by default. You can remove or reject cookies but please take note that such action could affect the availability and functionality of the Application. You may not decline web beacons. However, they can be rendered ineffective by declining all cookies or by modifying your web browser’s settings to notify you each time a cookie is tendered, permitting you to accept or decline cookies on an individual basis.

Opt-out rights

You can stop all further future collection of information by the Application by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make any changes to this Privacy Policy, we will post the updated Privacy Policy on this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy regularly to stay informed about how we are protecting your personal data.

In this Privacy Policy, when we refer to “we”, “us” or “our”, we are referring to NO.17 Foundation Limited.
