Gang Cheng is a Distinguished Research Fellow at the Institute for Philanthropy, Tsinghua University. He participated in the establishment of the Yingxian School of Philanthropy at Zhejiang Gongshang University, the first institution in China to cultivate philanthropy management talents across undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels, and served as its founding dean. He was also involved in founding the China Foundation Center and held leadership roles for many years, advocating modern philanthropic culture and credibility. He currently serves as Vice President of the Beijing Association for Charity and Social Welfare, Vice President of the Beijing Charity Association, and a Standing Committee Member of the Beijing Federation of Social Science Circles.

A non-partisan individual with an MBA from Zhejiang University. Under her leadership, the philanthropic organizations and initiatives Zhiyun Wang manages have received numerous honors, including the China Charity Award, Shanghai Advanced Social Organization, and National Advanced Social Organization, as well as multiple awards initiated by leading media in the public welfare sector. She was recognized as a Shanghai March 8th Red-Banner Holder (2015–2016) and named among the Sixth Outstanding Builders of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in Shanghai.
In recent years, she has frequently been invited to serve as an expert evaluator for government procurement of social services and foundation-related initiatives. She has delivered lectures on philanthropy at Tongji University (MPA), East China University of Science and Technology (MSW), and Fudan University (MSW). She also serves as a council member of the School-Government-Enterprise Advisory Board for Social Work at East China University of Political Science and Law, Deputy Director of the Child Welfare Committee of the Shanghai Social Workers Association, Industry Mentor for Fudan University MSW, and Distinguished Professor at the Yingxian School of Philanthropy, Zhejiang Gongshang University. She has also served as a mentor for programs including Xianfeng Initiative, Peiying Women’s Leadership Program, and Honghu Program, and held roles such as Executive Committee Member of the 15th and 16th Shanghai Women’s Federation and Council Member of the 1st and 2nd Shanghai New Social Strata Association.
