Global Citizen x IMPACT WEEK: Climate & Power of Partnerships
18 Sep 2025, 11:45:00 - 14:15:00
Impact Forum (Level 4 Suntec Convention Centre)
Through campaigns like Protect the Amazon and Scaling Up Renewables in Africa, Global Citizen has shown how citizen action can drive bold climate solutions that also fuel economic growth. Investing in renewable energy, carbon markets, and ecosystem protection creates jobs, strengthens communities, and builds resilient economies.
Curated by Global Citizen, the closing plenary will bring together the themes of IMPACT WEEK: finance, governance, equity, and innovation into practical pathways for progress. With Singapore at the heart of global finance, and Asia-Pacific leadership shaping the future of clean energy and carbon markets, the region will help chart the course toward sustainable growth.
Featuring world leaders, civil society voices, private-sector innovators, and young changemakers, the program will blend keynotes, debate, performance, and storytelling to showcasing bold partnerships and near-term commitments that prove climate action is not only essential for survival but also essential for shared prosperity.

China’s green transition is not theoretical—it is visible in deserts turned into forests, cities powered by renewables, and industrial strategies where ESG is embedded into the national agenda. From the Kubuqi Desert reforestation to rural revitalisation (乡村振兴) and innovative green finance instruments, China is redefining what sustainable development looks like at scale. This session examines the policies, technologies, and investment mechanisms driving China’s environmental transformation—and asks how these models can be adapted to other regions. It invites participants to consider not just the achievements, but the underlying systems and cultural drivers that made them possible.

From Start-Up to System Shift: Redesigning the Climate Innovation Landscape

Impact Lab 3 (Level 4 Suntec Convention Centre)
Realizing the full potential of climate innovation demands more than technology—it demands transformation. While groundbreaking climate solutions are emerging across Asia and the world, many remain disconnected from the systems they aim to change. Start-ups face fragmented support, short-term expectations, and limited pathways to scale—especially when their impact defies conventional ROI metrics.
This session convenes a new generation of climate entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem architects to reimagine what it takes to move from breakthrough idea to real-world transformation. We’ll spotlight founders who are regenerating ecosystems, healing communities, and reframing growth as service to life—not just shareholder value. Together, we’ll ask: how do we fund, scale, and support innovation that doesn’t just solve for carbon, but redefines value itself?
This is not a pitch competition. It’s a call to redesign the very systems that support climate innovation—from capital and community to narrative and policy.

The Rooted Leader Cycle: Aligning Inner Work and Relationships for Systemic Change
17 Sep 2025, 09:00:00 - 09:45:00
Impact Lab 1 (Level 4 Suntec Convention Centre)
This is the first session of a four-session series.
Before we can regenerate forests, systems, or economies, we must first ground ourselves. This guided session offers delegates a reflective space to connect with personal clarity, shared values, and systemic awareness ahead of co-creation workshops on rainforest revitalisation, food sovereignty, and community renewal. Using Perennial’s proven methodology, it helps align inner leadership with the complexities of ecological and social change.
Open to policymakers, entrepreneurs, funders, and practitioners, the session provides a vital pause to anchor purpose, resilience, and presence. It poses a bold question: could stillness and reconnection with values be the most radical starting point for true transformation?

Family Capital = Institutional Capital: How can we leverage power of Family Capital for Catalytic Philanthropy towards Impact and Transformation
17 Sep 2025, 13:00:00 - 14:30:00
Impact Lab 2 (Level 4 Suntec Convention Centre)
As the boundaries between philanthropic intent and institutional strategy blur, family capital is increasingly stepping into roles once held by large foundations and multilateral agencies. More than just financial contributors, family offices bring long-term vision, intergenerational values, and the agility to take risks that institutional players often avoid. This session will explore how family capital can match, complement, and even redefine the role of institutional capital in advancing catalytic philanthropy.
Featuring insights from pioneering foundations, family offices, and institutional investors, including a keynote contribution, the discussion will highlight models where family capital has driven systemic transformation—from education to climate resilience and social equity. It will examine how family offices can evolve beyond funders to become field builders, mobilising blended finance, co-creating with communities, and influencing policy change.

From Seed to Table: Building Resilient Food Chains, One Ingredient at a Time
18 Sep 2025, 11:30:00 - 12:30:00
Impact Lab 1 (Level 4 Suntec Convention Centre)
Every meal we eat reflects a journey from farm to table—one shaped by local systems and global supply chains that directly impact people and the planet. Yet many staple ingredients still come from agricultural systems that degrade ecosystems, undervalue farmers, and leave rural communities at risk.
Regenerative agriculture presents a powerful alternative, using practices such as intercropping, agroforestry, and diversified farming to restore nature, boost farmer incomes, and build climate resilience. Despite their benefits, these approaches often remain small in scale, blocked by challenges such as fragmented supply chains, market and finance failures, social inequality, and gaps in technical knowledge.
This session examines these barriers through the lens of a typical meal—featuring rice, vegetables, spices, oil, or coffee—and explores how collaborative, multi-stakeholder action can overcome them. It brings together businesses, farmer cooperatives, NGOs, policymakers, and ecosystem builders to spotlight real-world solutions like the Regenerative Food Facility and inclusive retail models.
Together, these efforts show how we can move from aspiration to action—transforming the food system one seed, one plate, one partnership at a time.

Disclosure frameworks like TNFD and TCFD promise transparency, but data alone does not heal ecosystems. This session challenges leaders to move beyond compliance: how can disclosures become living commitments to planetary regeneration? We will explore how to integrate human values, community voices, and holistic metrics into climate and nature-related disclosures— transforming data from a box-ticking exercise to a foundation for action and trust. If disclosures are just data without soul, they become our new blindfold—can we turn them instead into maps for regeneration?
